Registration Overview
Campers come to BR for the horses, but they come back for friendships. We know how important it is for those friendships to grow year after year, and we want to make it easier for returning campers to continue their BR tradition with the people and sessions they love.
That’s why we’re changing Priority Registration for 2027. Our goal is simple: make registration less stressful for returning BR families. For 65 years, returning families have been an important part of what makes BR special, and we’re grateful to continue that tradition with you.
Priority Registration will open in stages, giving campers who want to return to the same session a dedicated window to secure their spot before registration opens to new families.
Schedule of Stages for Priority Registration
Windows open at 10:00 AM EST and close at 8:00 PM EST each day.
Monday, November 2nd – 2-week campers may register for the same 2-week session they attended in 2026.
Tuesday, November 3rd – Any returning camper may register for the remaining spots in 2-week sessions.
- Campers who attended Starter Camp, Session 2, or Session 6 in 2026 and would like to move into a 2-week session.
- 2-week campers who would like to switch to a different 2-week session .
- Example: attended session 3 in 2026 and want to attend session 5 in 2027.
Please note: One-week sessions will not be available for registration on Tuesday.
Wednesday, November 4th – 1-week campers (Session 2 or Session 6) and Starter Camp attendees may register for the same session.
Thursday, November 5th – Saturday, November 7th
- All sessions are open to all returning campers,
- Siblings of returning campers.
- Campers who attended a 2026 Mother-Daughter Retreat or Friends & Family Weekend.
A Note About Availability: After returning campers have had the opportunity to secure a spot in the same session they attended in 2026, all remaining spots are subject to availability. Once a session fills, we will open a waitlist.
We encourage returning families to register during their designated Priority Registration window to maximize their chances of securing their preferred session before registration opens to new campers.
Priority registration link
Returning families will receive a unique Priority Registration link by email on Friday, October 30. Please do not share this link. This same link can be used throughout all of Priority Registration, so if you are eligible to register for different sessions on different days, you will continue to use the link provided in that email.
Who is eligible for priority registration?
Priority Registration is available only to campers and siblings of campers who, during the 2026 season:
- Attended a camper session
- Attended a Mother-Daughter Retreat
- Attended Family & Friends Weekend
Priority Registration is reserved for these returning BR families. We will cancel applications submitted during Priority Registration for campers who do not meet the eligibility requirements. Any funds paid will remain as a credit on the account and can be applied when registration opens to new campers on Wednesday, November 11.
Session limits
Due to high demand and our desire to give as many campers as possible the opportunity to attend BR:
- Campers may register for a maximum of one 1-week session.
- Campers may attend camp for a maximum of four weeks total during the summer.
General Registration
Registration will open to new campers and the general public on Wednesday, November 11 at 10:00 AM.
Mother-Daughter Retreats
Registration for the Mother-Daughter Retreats will begin on Wednesday, January 13th, 2027. More information will be released as the registration date approaches.
There is no priority registration period for the Mother-Daughter Retreats.
Important Upcoming Dates
- The BR office will be closed through September and October and will reopen on October 28th. If you need to contact us, please email us at [email protected].
- Returning Camper registration begins on Monday, November 2nd, in stages.
- Camper session registration will be open to all campers on Wednesday, November 11th, at 10 am EST.
- When the office reopens, our hours will be 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- The BR office will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 26th and 27th
